Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

 

Shipping

PeterKoffMW.com will ship to you wherever we may legally do so. Shipping is done using approved packaging. Because alcohol shipments are subject to additional legal requirements, an adult signature is required for receipt. If no adult is at the address, the shipper will leave a note and try again to deliver. If no adult is available at a subsequent attempt to deliver, the shipper will leave another note advising the customer that the wine will be at the shipper's local depot and may be collected there by a specific date. If the customer does not pick up the wines in the allotted time, the shipper will ship the wine back to PeterKoffMW.com. We are billed for the return shipment. In this instance PeterKoffMW.com will refund the customer's order less the cost of return shipment. We strongly urge you make every effort to receive your shipment to avoid this situation.

Currently, we do not ship to the following states:

 We review the patchwork of laws regularly and shipping information is liable to change without notice. If your state appears on this list, please contact us at info@PeterKoffMW.com and we'll try to find a legal alternative. We wish to go on record by emphasizing that not being able to ship to wine lovers like you anywhere in the USA is a restriction that flies in the face of the continuous pabulum we are fed; that we are the "freest nation on earth." We urge you to bombard your state legislators to treat you with respect and to allow you the occasional bottle of fine wine that may not be available in your state via a state monopoly (in itself a travesty!) or via one of your state's distributors. Remember that the effect of this is to tell you what wines you may or may not drink!

PeterKoffMW.com prefers to ship wine in "Shipping Season," during the Spring and Fall, typically April through May and October through November. Wines awaiting shipment are stored free of charge in temperature controlled facilities. We will notify you when we plan to ship. We do not recommend shipping wines outside of shipping season and will take no responsibility for wine damaged by heat extremes. Customers are strongly advised to use overnight shipping outside of shipping season. By ordering wine from PeterKoffMW.com, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.

You may order bottles one at a time and ship at your convenience but GreatWine2U.com advises that you only ship wine when you have at least 6 bottles to ship and during the Spring and Fall shipping seasons, typically April through May and October through November. Wines awaiting shipment are stored free of charge in temperature controlled facilities. We will notify you when we plan to ship. If you want shipments of fewer than 6 bottles and / or you want shipments outside of shipping season, please select these options at checkout. We do not recommend shipping wines outside of shipping season and will take no responsibility for wine damaged by heat extremes. Customers are strongly advised to use overnight shipping outside of shipping season. By ordering wine from PeterKoffMW.com, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.

You may order bottles one at a time but, to lower average shipping costs, PeterKoffMW.com only ships wine when a customer has at least 6 bottles to ship and during the Spring and Fall shipping seasons, typically April through May and October through November. Wines awaiting shipment are stored free of charge in temperature controlled facilities. We will notify you when we plan to ship. If you want shipments of fewer than 6 bottles, please select the relevant option at checkout. By ordering wine from PeterKoffMW.com, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. 

Availability of Wines

Many wines offered are not yet in our warehouse. Some wines are offered before arrival in our warehouse and most are shipped from outside of the USA. Some wines may take as many as 6 months or more to arrive. PeterKoffMW.com will give you our best estimate as to when a wine will arrive. This is an estimate only and not a guarantee. Your order is tendered and accepted with this clear understanding. When wines are available for immediate shipment, you will be able to select shipping at checkout. Wine shipments typically take 10 -14 days from order. Please factor this into your planning.
